Advice from park parents

Personal help from start to finish

Studios, Islands, Epic, Volcano Bay.

Pick the parks that match the kids you are bringing.

If Harry Potter is the reason you are going, you want Park-to-Park. If Epic is the reason, give it its own day. We will not stack three parks into one heroic itinerary.

City street scene in the spirit of Universal Studios Florida

Movies come to life

Universal Studios Florida

Diagon Alley, Minions, and the classic you-are-in-the-movie days. A strong first-timer park — and the other end of the Hogwarts Express.

Family tip: Park-to-Park tickets are what let you ride Hogwarts Express between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure

Coasters, creatures & Hogsmeade

Islands of Adventure

Hogsmeade village, Jurassic adventures, Marvel Super Hero Island, and some of the biggest thrills on property. This is the park many families build a whole day around.

Family tip: If someone in your group is height-sensitive, tell us early. We will plan a mix of big rides and calmer islands.

Illuminated fountains inspired by Celestial Park

Five worlds, one park

Epic Universe

Opened May 22, 2025. Step through portals into Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Ministry of Magic, Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

Family tip: Epic can hit capacity on busy days. We watch dates, tickets, and hotel location together so you are not guessing.

Tropical lagoon-style pool

A full water-park day

Volcano Bay

Universal’s water theme park — slides, a sandy beach, and a slower midday when the other parks feel loud. It is its own ticket add-on, not a free extra on every park pass.

Planning note: Volcano Bay is scheduled for refurbishment beginning October 26, 2026, with a planned return on or before April 1, 2027.

CityWalk sits in the middle. Dining, shows, and late-night energy between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. On-site hotel guests get complimentary transportation here.

Eleven official hotels. Three tiers.

On-site hotel or nearby? Express changes that answer.

Every official Universal Orlando hotel includes Early Park Admission (valid theme park admission required), complimentary transportation to the parks and CityWalk, room-key charging, and merchandise delivery. The big difference is Express Unlimited — and that perk only comes with three hotels.

Full-service

Signature Collection

The flagship stays — and the only tier where Express can be included.

Portofino Bay, Hard Rock, Royal Pacific, Sapphire Falls, and Helios Grand. Only the first three include Universal Express Unlimited at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. Helios Grand adds a dedicated entrance into Epic Universe. Sapphire Falls is Signature comfort without the Express perk.

Modern & well placed

Prime Value

Newer rooms, strong location, Early Park Admission — Express sold separately.

Aventura Hotel near the original campus. Stella Nova and Terra Luna next to Epic Universe. A smart fit when you want on-site perks without Signature pricing.

Family space & value

Value Inns & Suites

The most affordable on-site path, including two-bedroom suites.

Cabana Bay Beach Resort plus Endless Summer Surfside and Dockside. Kitchenettes, extra beds, and the same Early Park Admission family of benefits. Cabana Bay now sits in this value tier.

Too many lovely choices?

Tell us who is traveling, what you want to ride, and whether Express is on the wish list. We will shortlist two or three hotels that actually fit.

Tickets that match your pace

One park, or the whole map.

Universal tickets are date-based and the labels change with how many parks you want in a single day. We will match the ticket to your hotel, your energy, and whether Epic Universe is a must.

Stay in one park

1-Park / Base

One theme park per day. Simple and often the right call for shorter trips or little kids who do not need to hop. Multi-day base tickets can include a choice of Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, or Epic Universe depending on the product.

Planning take: You cannot ride Hogwarts Express without Park-to-Park privileges between USF and Islands of Adventure.

Hop the original two

Park-to-Park

Same-day access between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, including Hogwarts Express. On 1- and 2-day Park-to-Park tickets, Epic Universe is typically a separate visit — not part of that same-day hop.

Planning take: Great when Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade are both on the list.

2026 and beyond

3+ Day Park-to-Park with Epic

Starting with 2026 visits, 3-, 4-, and 5-day Park-to-Park tickets can include same-day hopping among Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe.

Planning take: This is the ticket most families want when Epic is part of a longer stay. Epic can still reach capacity on select days.

Water day or skip-the-line

Volcano Bay & Express

Volcano Bay is an add-on, not automatic. Universal Express and Express Unlimited let you use the Express lane at participating attractions. Hotel-included Express Unlimited at Portofino Bay, Hard Rock, and Royal Pacific is for USF and Islands of Adventure only — not Epic, not Volcano Bay. Epic Express is purchased separately.

Planning take: For a family of four on a busy week, bundled Express at a Premier hotel can cost less than buying Express tickets à la carte. We will run the numbers.

A note on the fine print. Ticket names, blockout dates, and Florida-resident offers change. Volcano Bay is scheduled to close for maintenance beginning October 26, 2026, with a planned reopening on or before April 1, 2027. We confirm the live rules for your dates before you book.

Straight answers

Your questions, before you write us.

Does your planning help cost extra?

No. Enchanted Ear Escapes does not charge a planning or booking fee. You pay Universal for the vacation. Our help is complimentary.

Can I ask for a quote before choosing a hotel?

Please do. Tell us your dates, party size, and what matters most — Epic Universe, Harry Potter, a quiet pool, Express, or a suite. We will send options, not a hard sell.

Which hotels include Express Unlimited?

Three: Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort. The benefit is for registered room guests at participating attractions in Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, from check-in through checkout. It is not valid at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay. Helios Grand and Sapphire Falls do not include Express.

How many park days do we need?

A first visit that includes Epic Universe is often 4 to 6 park days if you also want Volcano Bay or a pool afternoon. Two parks in one day is possible with Park-to-Park, but it is a long day. We would rather give you a realistic pace than a heroic itinerary.

What if a new promotion comes out after I book?

We watch the offers that apply to your dates and hotel. If something better appears and Universal will honor a change, we will reach out.

What happens after I send my request?

Sean will review your details and follow up by email or text using the information you provide. We aim to reply within one business day, then work with you on the options before you decide to book.

Send the dates. We will send options.

Dates, ages, and whether Express is on the wish list. That is enough for a quote.
